pentagon, aka Kōichi Yamazaki (山崎耕一), is a Japanese arranger and musician who assisted with the soundtrack to Ico.

The majority of pentagon's other videogame music composition work consists of his frequent contributions to the beatmania series. He also worked as a music arranger on the soundtrack to Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec.
